The SDA Bible Study Guide contains information for weekly study in preparation for the discussion in Adult Sabbath Schools. Copies of the SDA Bible Study Guide are available at the church office, or ask for one at the mission window in the church on Saturday mornings.
9:30 am, Church: Sanctuary
Several hundred people meet in the Sanctuary for a conventional Sabbath School program. The group divides into three classes for study using the SDA Bible Study Guide—one in each side transept, and Pastor Dan Smith regularly teaches the class in the back.
9:30 am, Education Center: Pathfinder Pavilion
A less formal setting, where 60 to 100 people meet. The lesson follows the SDA Bible Study Guide, and features a different special presentation each week. Pastor Halcyon Wilson is the pastoral liaison.
9:35 am, Church: Minister's Room
This group focuses on study and discussion of the SDA Bible Study Guide in a smaller, informal setting. Up to 25 people attend, mostly retired, but not “tired!” Pastor John Champlin coordinates this class.
9:40 am, LSU Alumni Center
An informal, lively, interactive discussion of the lesson with a variety of perspectives. This small group, led by LSU faculty, usually has attendance between 15 and 30 people.
9:45 am, Education Center: Christian Counseling Center
An alternative to the regular Bible study, this class looks at a variety of topics of interest to the group. Led by Pastor Stuart Tyner, about 30 people meet in a relaxed, open environment for discussion.
