Welcome to our La Sierra University Church website!

We are a 2,600-member Seventh-day Adventist congregation next to La Sierra University in western Riverside, in the Inland Empire region of southern California. Please feel free to check out who we are, see what is happening this week in our worship services, download a sermon, or look at one of many ministries!

The church was founded in the 1920s initially to serve the then La Sierra College, and also La Sierra Academy, which is on the other side of the church. But over the years we have become also a major community church, with hundreds coming from all over Riverside and other nearby towns.

We have a rich blend of ethnic diversity, with Hispanics, Filipinos, Indians, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, Asian, and other groups adding color and culture to our worship and community.

We seek to minister to the thoughtful University student and young adult, but we aim to minister to the entire family. We also try to reach multi-generational Adventists, and also engage those seeking and checking out Christianity and Adventism.
